• First there are several months of great outdoor weather. Backyard BBQ, outings to the beach, picnic in the woods; use your imagination.
• You could help plan a bus trip to a flea market with a stop for breakfast. What about a trip to a museum, or a circus, or the mansions in Newport...who says we always have to eat? Contact the Steering Committee, they are always looking for good ideas.
• You could simply limit the number of guests. The event could be advance reservations. (anyone who ever had a one-bedroom apartment would understand)
